Meet April Hatfield, our Inventory Control Specialist!

What is your role at Warners’ Stellian?
Inventory Control Specialist

Tell us more about your role.
I help execute and reconcile inventory counts. Aid in maintaining integrity of inventory at all warehouses, stores and most recently, the repair department. I help to research & answer questions regarding inventory movement and procedural expectations.

What do you like most about your job?
The different puzzles that pop up every day needing investigation and a solution. It is satisfying to work with all the different teams throughout the company.

Tell us about your family.
I am married to Nate, now 22 years. We have 3 sons, identical twins that are 24 and a 22-year-old. Sadie, Ozzy & Ichi are our 3 boxers that never disappoint in bringing all the energy to the arrival home, our fur friends are just the best!

What was your first job?
Latch key teacher’s aid for 1st – 3rd graders, my class focused on science; we did all sorts of fun experiments. Making volcanos, slime, having airplane races, those were fun and simple times.

What do you like to do on your days off?
With summertime here, it is off to the cabin on the weekends. Weeknights, you will typically find me working in the yard or chilling on our patio. The colorful sunsets on our patio help to lull us into relaxation with mother nature leading a chorus of frogs and whatever other woodland creatures that live in the back wetlands that surround the pond. The deer herds & turkeys on their way to the farmers’ fields make frequent visits.

Strive for excellence

What’s your favorite appliance, and why?
Water heater, every time! Hot showers, hands down the best & easiest to attain luxury afforded to humankind.

Tell us something about you that would surprise us or that most people don’t know.
I am a fraternal twin.

What is the one thing you cannot live without?
My sense of sight. Nature is amazing, all the walks & drives from Springtime to Fall, taking in all the greenery, it’s a top 5 of my favorite things. My boxers love to join along, especially for a cruise when they can hang their heads out the windows to take it all in.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Papusas – stuff em with all the different things. Birria Papusas are my favorite, but I will never discriminate against any flavor. Soooo, tasty!

What is your favorite thing to do?
Listening to music; finding those tunes that match my vibe of the moment and allowing it to flow.
