What is your role at Warners’ Stellian? 

Merchandising Assistant

Tell us more about your role.

I help manage vendor accounts, organizing chargebacks and returns and processing payments. I help maintain the item database in Netsuite. I help manage the floor plans at all the stores. I help with processing customer rebates.

What do you like most about your job?

I have a unique position that gives me the opportunity to learn from everyone on the team and assist in all areas of the business.

Tell us about your family.

I’m the oldest child with just one sister. My parents live in the Milwaukee area and thankfully I get to visit them often. I’ve been with my girlfriend Sydney for almost 3 years who I met at school here in the cities.

What was your first job?

I got a job at Five Guys in high school and it helped me get a lot more comfortable in the kitchen.

What do you like to do on your days off?

I have a ton of hobbies. Most nights I’m at the gym right after work, and then I’ll be at home reading, playing video games, painting miniatures, going out with friends or taking a walk at one of the awesome parks around here.

What’s your favorite appliance, and why?

The microwave. I do a lot of meal prepping and it saves me so much time every week.

Tell us something about you that would surprise us or that most people don’t know.

I have my solo certificate to fly planes. I plan to finish my pilot’s license as soon as I’m done with school.

What is the one thing you cannot live without?

My computer – games, movies, and it lets me stay connected with my friends and family that are now spread all over the country.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Definitely a burrito. There are so many different fillings and recipes out there and they’re so easy to make. My favorite lately has been bbq chicken.

What is your favorite thing to do?        

I’ve been running a weekly D&D game for all my friends for the past 3 years and it’s always the highlight of our week.

Spotlight Series: Meet Inventory Control Specialist April

Meet April Hatfield, our Inventory Control Specialist!

What is your role at Warners’ Stellian? 
Inventory Control Specialist

Tell us more about your role.
I help execute and reconcile inventory counts. Aid in maintaining integrity of inventory at all warehouses, stores and most recently, the repair department. I help to research & answer questions regarding inventory movement and procedural expectations.

What do you like most about your job?
The different puzzles that pop up every day needing investigation and a solution. It is satisfying to work with all the different teams throughout the company.

Tell us about your family.
I am married to Nate, now 22 years. We have 3 sons, identical twins that are 24 and a 22-year-old. Sadie, Ozzy & Ichi are our 3 boxers that never disappoint in bringing all the energy to the arrival home, our fur friends are just the best!

What was your first job?
Latch key teacher’s aid for 1st – 3rd graders, my class focused on science; we did all sorts of fun experiments. Making volcanos, slime, having airplane races, those were fun and simple times.

What do you like to do on your days off?
With summertime here, it is off to the cabin on the weekends. Weeknights, you will typically find me working in the yard or chilling on our patio. The colorful sunsets on our patio help to lull us into relaxation with mother nature leading a chorus of frogs and whatever other woodland creatures that live in the back wetlands that surround the pond. The deer herds & turkeys on their way to the farmers’ fields make frequent visits.

What’s your favorite appliance, and why?
Water heater, every time! Hot showers, hands down the best & easiest to attain luxury afforded to humankind.

Tell us something about you that would surprise us or that most people don’t know.
I am a fraternal twin.

What is the one thing you cannot live without?
My sense of sight. Nature is amazing, all the walks & drives from Springtime to Fall, taking in all the greenery, it’s a top 5 of my favorite things. My boxers love to join along, especially for a cruise when they can hang their heads out the windows to take it all in.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Papusas – stuff em with all the different things. Birria Papusas are my favorite, but I will never discriminate against any flavor. Soooo, tasty!

What is your favorite thing to do? 
Listening to music; finding those tunes that match my vibe of the moment and allowing it to flow.

What is your role at Warners’ Stellian?
Accounts Receivable.

Tell us more about your role.
Processing credit applications, ordering pre-liens/liens, etc. Doing my part to ensure that money keeps
rolling in!

What do you like most about your job?
Definitely the people that I work with. We’ve got a great crew!

Tell us about your family.
Small and simple! I live with my husband, Shane, our two cats Milo and Penelope, and our dog Lily. I also have two adult stepchildren.

What was your first job?
Factory Card Outlet (a party store that wasn’t around long)

What do you like to do on your days off?
During the warm weather months, I love outside activities – fishing, camping (let’s be real – “glamping”), games and gatherings
with friends. But now that winter’s coming, I’ll probably be going into hibernation. 😉

What three words would you use to describe Warners’ Stellian?
Family, growth, community

What’s your favorite appliance, and why?
Probably my dishwasher; gotta love an appliance that does a chore for you!

Tell us something about you that would surprise us or that most people don’t know.
I know how to speak a little Swedish. My grandma taught me some when I was younger, and throughout the years I’ve studied a little on my own here and there. I’m far from fluent but I can say enough to randomly confuse people.

What is the one thing you cannot live without?
Probably my phone.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Taco stuffed pepper hotdish.

What is your favorite thing to do?
Almost anything can be fun with the right company! Fishing, bowling, sitting around a fire and chatting with friends. But I also
love my alone time where I binge true crime podcasts or read/listen to a good book.
