How long have you worked at Warners’ Stellian?

I’ve been with the company for 15 years, working in delivery since day one. I became Delivery Field Supervisor about a year ago. I appreciate having a job that allows me to stay active.

What are your main tasks as a Delivery Field Supervisor?

First and foremost, I make sure trucks hit the road every day. Then I trail and train delivery crews, teaching the proper techniques for lifting and installing. I field calls from customers about their delivery experience. The delivery team is constantly trying to improve, not only to be the best we can, but to stay the best in the field.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned on the job so far?

There are no shortcuts in this line of work. It’s crucial for the delivery team to do the job right and double check the work. Accidents and errors occur if the job is rushed.

As a supervisor, what does true leadership mean to you?

A true leader doesn’t waste time discussing the problem, but uses his or her time to find a solution. A leader doesn’t boss people around; they motivate and inspire people to take pride in their work. If a leader truly leads, their employees will be invested in the company and want to work hard.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Calamari. It was gross. But I ate bear, and that was great.

Tell us a fun fact!

Everyone assumes I’m Italian because my last name is Franco, but I’m actually half Mexican.
