Shop Black Friday Appliance Deals Before Black Friday

Many think that Black Friday shoppers are out scooping up discounted gifts for their loved one’s holiday wish lists.

And they are, don’t get me wrong.

But the day after Thanksgiving is becoming a day savvy shoppers use to score deals for themselves, as well. Think Black Friday refrigerators. Black Friday washers. Black Friday dishwashers. Yep, I’m serious. If you discount it, shoppers will come!

And savvy retailers and brands are hatching Black Friday appliance deals early to ensure the catching of that worm.

So shop now while the supplies are still available. (Hint: we have our lowest deal on a stainless steel kitchen package since…well, at least a couple years — I can’t even remember. But we can’t advertise it!)

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, after all.

Featured Appliance Deals for the Warners’ Stellian Warehouse Sale

appliancewarehousesaleUsually Warner Stellian Appliance holds its Extreme Warehouse Sale the second weekend of November, but this year, we were so excited we couldn’t wait any longer.

We moved it up to the last weekend of October, which is this Saturday and Sunday.

When and where is it?

Saturday, Oct. 27 from 7-5:30
Sunday, Oct. 28 from 11-5

What’s on sale?

Well, we can’t tell you that — it would ruin the surprise for everyone. BUT we will share a selection of featured products that will be on hand, while supplies last, via email on Wednesday.

Do NOT call trying to find out specific models and prices of what’s in the warehouse. Most of us don’t know. Those who do won’t tell you. It’s only fair to all our shoppers.

Like we do every year, we’ll have hundreds of deeply discounted appliances in every category and major brand. Plus, all the specialty items such as high-quality vacuums, wine and beverage refrigeration and grills.

But this year, the rumor is we’ll have our largest-ever selection of professional cooking appliances and built-in refrigeration. So, here’s your chance to step up to that high-end range you always dreamed of and still be able to afford the food you want to cook on it.

Come Play Cards With the Maytag Repairman

maytagrepairmanBecause he has absolutely nothing else to do, the Maytag Repairman is visiting a couple Warner Stellian Appliance stores this Thursday, Oct. 11.

The iconic figure has been biding his time since 1967 (see

), though he looks a little different these days: younger, more technologically inclined as Maytag adds innovation to its reputation as dependable. (i.e. my Maytag refrigerator exceeds federal energy standards by 30%, putting it in the Tier 3 category of CEE ratings.)

But he’s still absolutely available. So cards it is.

His likely adept skills at solitaire won’t necessarily translate to Go Fish. So come try your hand and give him some company.

If cards aren’t your thing, we’ll take your picture and get you an autograph.

Thursday, We’ll be at our Edina appliance store, 3533 W. 70th St. (across from the Galleria) from 9-10 a.m.

Then we’ll hop over to our Falcon Heights/Roseville/St. Paul appliance store (so amazing it has three names around here), 1711 N. Snelling St. (two blocks north of the State Fairgrounds), from 11-noon.

Customer Appreciation Sale Contest

Recently, we realized that although we excel at providing excellent appliance experiences from selection to installation, we’re horrible archivists. 

Thus, we’re bribing you all to help us out. 

In conjunction with our Customer Appreciation Sale, celebrating almost 60 years as Minnesota’s appliance specialist, Warners’ Stellian is gathering the best original stories, memories, photos — you name it — of our past and present.

Send us your stories, photos, Warners’ Stellian “swag,” receipts — you name it. 

ImageWe’ll reward the owner of our favorite submission with a Romantic Winter Weekend Getaway to Grand View Lake Lodge in Brainerd worth over $630. The getaway package includes two nights lodging, breakfast, a $100 Dining Card and a Couples Massage at the beautiful Glacial Waters Spa (good on Friday evening or Sunday morning of the stay). The stay is good from Nov. 15, 2012 through March 3, 2012.
