Discounted appliances you’ll see at warehouse sale this weekend

We’ll have thousands of appliance deals on hand for Warners’ Stellian’s (now-famous) Extreme Warehouse Sale, taking place 7 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14.

No matter how many people come to our warehouse sale door this week and call our sales line, there’s absolutely no early shopping allowed. But…I can give you a sneak peek of the deals smart shoppers will be snapping up at our St. Paul appliance warehouse (550 Atwater Circle, 1 miles north of I-94 & Dale).

What’s you’ll see at the Warners Stellian Warehouse Sale

So, we have some pretty sweet deals on hand for this weekend’s Extreme Warehouse Sale.

While quantities last, we have three pairs of laundry that have been priced to move:

And those looking for a new refrigerator have the chance to get a LG French-door refrigerator at rock-bottom prices.

But, quantities are limited, so deals can only last as long as your fellow customers allow them to.

We’re getting A LOT of calls from people with specific model numbers in mind, wanting to know what products would be included in our sale.

He was very understanding when I explained to him that we have more than 2,000 products on display for this sale.

And truly don’t know what’s down there until we see it all Saturday morning!

But with more than 2,000 products, we generally have something for everyone, or at least for the majority of the nearly 2,400 groups of customers that came out for our last warehouse sale.

Other big discounts include an Energy Star Maytag dishwasher in stainless steel for $349 and a stainless steel Frigidaire self-clean gas range for $499, while quantities last (both pictured below).

A selection of brands that “never go on sale” will be available (again, while quantities last), including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Liebherr and Electrolux. Customers can save up to 80% on professional-style built-in models. Jenn-Air wall ovens, for example, will start at $599 and you can save $1,000 off Electrolux French-door ice & water refrigerators.

We’ll have some of my personal favorite, steam laundry, at the sale for $1499 for a washer/dryer pair.

Maybe your kitchen and laundry room is all set, but you’ve got your eye on a grill or wine refrigerator. We’ll have those, along with Miele vacuums starting at $329.

Warners’ Stellian Warehouse Sale: Extreme preparation

To give you an idea of just how seriously we at Warners’ Stellian take our Extreme Warehouse Sale…

It’s kind of blurry, but only because the girl taking it was shaking with envy.

Two of our customer service reps, Amy and Paula, and I got our nails done festively in anticipation of our big sale this Saturday and Sunday (yellow and black are our colors for the sale; red and black are our normal logo colors).

We three will be among nearly 60 workers entering orders in the checkout area, trying to keep the process as efficient as possible.

I guess you could say it’s all hands on deck.

I think we’ll really nail it.

OK, that’s about all the groaners I can come up with for now.

Warners’ Stellian Warehouse Sale: It’s baa-ack…

Warners’ Stellian’s semiannual Extreme Warehouse Sale is less than a week away.

Like before every sale, we’re super slammed getting ready, so I’ll give you the fast 5 Ws (and one H):

What: Hundreds of appliances below cost – including brands that “never go on sale.” Seriously, there are thousands of deals on closeout models, floor models, scratch and dent items, discontinued models and even new, in-box “special buys” we make specifically for this sale. All items come with full factory warranty. Delivery will $75 to the metro area, so take your purchase with you for maximum savings. Professional installation is available for built-in items.

When: Saturday, March 13 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 14 from 10 to 5.

Where: Warners’ Stellian’s St. Paul Warehouse, approximately 1 mile north of 94 off Dale Street.

Who: Thousands of deal-seeking Minnesotans (and Western Wisconsinites!). We counted about 2,600 “groups” (we don’t count people individually because people usually make purchases as a family/couple) last November. For our part, we’ll have 60 salespeople helping customers select the right product and 60 people helping customers check out, plus more workers helping customers load purchases into their car, directing traffic, etc.

How: We prepare half the year for this sale, and it’s been so successful that manufacturers have gotten behind it and helped us offer deals worth getting excited about.

Why: Because we love you? Yes. But mostly because you love deals. For your friends and family members (and maybe even you) who didn’t get an appliance stimulus rebate reservation, there are deals that will leave just as much if not more cash in your hand — just not in the form of a check from the government.

An Extreme Recap 2009

I think we’re all pretty tired after our Extreme Warehouse Sale, which happened this Saturday and Sunday. So I’m going to recap this in numbers and pictures.

Saturday 8 a.m.-ish (Thanks for making this our biggest line ever!)

By the numbers

4 a.m.: Time the first customer arrived to stand in line

Our first-in-line customer celebrated as we opened the doors at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

380: Customer groups (whether individual, couple or family) through our doors in the first 15 minutes

20: Dozens of doughnut holes served to customers waiting in line for the doors to open Saturday

Apparently, Jeff said something funny. Or else they could just want to keep him happy so the doughnuts keep coming…

2,350: Total customer groups through our doors

145: Workers (sales, office, warehouse, merchandising, etc.)

The most fun you can have a warehouse, hands down.

35: Average total orders each checkout worker entered on Saturday

70: Gallons of coffee we went through Saturday and Sunday

16: Total hours of the sale

130: Yards of checkout line (below left), which warehouse manager Steve Washenberger (below right) pointed out is just shy of what Adrian Peterson had against the Lions on Sunday. The longest wait was about 90 minutes, and we had more than 30 people entering orders as efficiently as possible!

We set lofty goals for this season’s sale. And thanks to everyone who came and took advantage of our deals, we met those goals.

Sales associates, customer service reps, warehouse crew, merchandising department, marketing, HR, accounting — EVERYONE at Warners’ Stellian comes together for our Extreme Warehouse Sale, whether here or at the stores. That’s really the only time we really get to do that.

Everyone’s walking around here a little happier, and we’re definitely stronger than we were on Friday.
