We’ll have thousands of appliance deals on hand for Warners’ Stellian’s (now-famous) Extreme Warehouse Sale, taking place 7 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. Saturday, March 12 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13.
Though there’s absolutely no early shopping allowed, I can give you this little preview of the appliance discounts smart shoppers will be snapping up at our St. Paul appliance warehouse (550 Atwater Circle, 1 miles north of I-94 & Dale).
Our favorite event of the year is less than a week away.
The Warners’ Stellian Warehouse Sale is this Saturday, March 12 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shoppers turn out in droves for this sale, because we turn our headquarters into a discount appliance warehouse. We’ll have thousands of appliances, hundreds of them at or below cost.
We pull together scratch & dent appliances, closeouts, floor models of every category (refrigerators, stoves, washers and even grills and vacuums) from traditional brands to luxury models and pro-style appliances from brands that “never go on sale.”

My appliance career peaked too early, last March to be exact.
The apex of discount appliances happened March 1, 2010 when the “Cash for Appliances” appliance rebate reservations began in MN.
The appliance stimulus, as we refer to it, promised money back on refrigerators, freezers, washers and dishwashers.
I was in heaven for that week. People got as excited about appliance deals then as we are every day here.
Many tried to take advantage of those appliance rebates, but only about 30,000 got to cash in their appliance “clunkers.” Many others were left without the appliance deal and are still waiting to replace.
Our appliance sales remained good in the months that followed, don’t get me wrong, but people still asked about the possibility of getting a big rebate for replacing an appliance. And we missed having a appliance rebate stimulus, too, frankly.
You’re not limited to just one rebate, which means you can get up to $1,200 total in rebates. Buy a laundry pair and get rebates on both the washer and dryer (and grab an extra $50 on qualifying pairs!). You are, however, limited to one rebate per appliance category with the exception of cooking; for instance, you can get a rebate on both a cooktop and wall oven.
Shoppers lined up Saturday before 6 a.m. — in the falling snow — drinking coffee served by president Jeff Warner and his niece Meg. After the doors opened at 7, people slapped SOLD tags on anything from a replacement microwave to a full, pro-style kitchen with steam laundry.
Still, the weather slowed our traffic a bit from normal warehouse sale levels, which meant two things:
Fewer cookies eaten by customers and more cookies eaten by those of us working as cashiers (oops!)
A bunch of discount appliances still need good homes
Even if you were deterred by the weather (or the Vikes) and couldn’t make it out to us this time, you can still help these lonely appliances by taking advantage of the low prices on our leftover inventory. Appliances will be making their way back to our stores, especially our Minneapolis appliance outlet.
Thanks to everyone who made this another successful sale. Everyone in our company pitched in for this, so the appreciation ran deep from our employees to our customers.
On a personal note, I realized once again why this sale is my absolute favorite day to work all year. I met so many of our great customers, who shared their stories and excitement with me — it’s really a treat for me, so thank you 🙂
