True story…Today a customer asked me if I had a # to call for an Electrostatic paint company. I had to ask what he wanted to paint of course. He has a 30+ year old HARVEST GOLD fridge that he wanted to continue to use but he no longer loved the color. I think I talked him out of it, but I had to share. Talk about a person who could save money by purchasing a new one!

Amen, Sarah! We have so many programs these days in which a utility company will pay a homeowner if she gives up her second refrigerator…I’ve never heard personally of someone using one, though.

Of course if we’re going to save anything, we’ll have to stop doing what is so popular around here – putting the 10-15 year old refrigerator out in the garage and continuing to use it!
