The students sure left no stone unturned or resource untapped here. I thoroughly enjoyed the University website links, thanks for adding them.

The technology to comfortably live off-grid is at our disposal, affording the technology is pretty much the biggest stumbling block to most enthusiasts who would love to go off-grid.

What is gratifying is the fact that solar panels are becoming less expensive and more easily available, along with entry level wind and even water turbines. That sustainable mountain cottage far far away just sounds so enticing, doesn’t it just? With satellite communications you can have your internet and can work from your little slice of paradise.

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
